Right from my childhood I always wondered why the game of Cricket is given a prime importance than the national sport Hockey. Nevertheless there are other sports like kabbadi, kho-kho, Archery, Indian Martial Arts and the list will go on. To break the Ice it is another way of imposing the british lifestyle and we blindly and with a great sense of stupid pride taking the british legacy to the whole new level in the sports entertainment.
Did we achieve as a nation - INDEPENDENCE AND FREEDOM FROM THE BRITISH OR WERE WE GIVEN as a tranfer of Power of Attorney for a period of 99 years as a lease period. It is not a million dollar question ....it will not even worth a penny ... because any poor fellow can say it easily what the system( system like democracy, judiciary and more) is all about and well educated people may also come forward to counter the view by arguing British gave away the structured system while leaving.
Back to square one I still wonder why people are going crazy to a game Cricket when other english speaking countries give a damn about it. Only people from Asian countries Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and especially INDIA per say give a huge amount of importance to this lazy clumsy gentleman game Cricket and to my understanding even the game originated from the nation England/ Britain doesn't pay much importance than the other sports like Tennis and Soccer/ Football. ANd it is all happening with the mainstream Print , TV and Radio media. And why the heck they do, because they are paid a huge chunk of money for the PR activity by BCCI and respective state cricket association compared to to other associations. And to the information, BCCI works autonomously and is never a part of Sports Authority of India. To the astonishment BCCI didn't pay much tax to the country but organizations associated with it are a big time profitable ones. And how this all runs is now a million dollar question and probably the answer would be again the stooges of British and its allies corporate world. And for what purpose this all happens - To prove the world That India is still under British Dynasty and continues to be even after Independence.
I appreciate if you also give a thought now since you've gone through the entire blog. Let us all destroy demolish the British Dynasty once for all or brick by brick attempting from sports field but let us do it. So that it should not be written that our ancestors fought for freedom and achieved Independence and our next generation are fighting for the freedom and We (our generation) ruined the freedom.
